We plan to host an event to commemorate the birthday of Maryam Mirzakhani. We plan for screening of the movies "Olga Ladyzhenskaya" and "Journeys of Women in Math" and a research lecture by Prof. Meena Sahai, Department of Mathematics and Astronomy, University of Lucknow. The event will be attended by our faculty members, research scholars, lady teachers and girl students from affiliated colleges.
On the occasion of May 12, the Department of Mathematics of Radboud University (NL) organizes a panel discussion about diversity and inclusiveness in Mathematics, Mathematicians in real life.
The interactive panel discussion, open to students and staff members, will give voice to underrepresented groups in this field.
The event will take place on May 12, from 12:15 to 13:30 in room HG00.307 of the Huygens building (Heyendaalseweg 135, Nijmegen).
At Mathematics Münster, we are celebrating gender diversity with several events and digital activities throughout the week from 8-12 May in the context of the May12 initiative.
We will have a film screening of the short movie about Olga Alexandrovna Ladyzhenskaya, a discussion on "Achieving gender balance in science", a lunch time lecture on Gender Biases and scientific talks by two of our MATHRIX professors. Young scientist will present their research topic on digital "blackboards" which will be presented at our webpages.

In line with the 9th SEAMS-UGM International Conference on Mathematics and Its Applications, the Third Southeast Asian Women Mathematicians Meeting 2023 (SEAWM 2023) will be held in Yogyakarta-Indonesia. The SEAWM 2023 is a continuation of Asian Women Mathematicians Forum (AWMF) 2016 in Bali-Indonesia 29 July 2016. This activity also intended for Celebrating Women in Mathematics on May 12 as a tribute of the Birthday of Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman who achieved the Fields Medal.
In this event we celebrate the work in mathematics done by women from Instituto de Matemática Aplicada San Luis (IMASL) and from the Math Department of Universidad Nacional de San Luis. For this, our event consists of two plenary conferences, given by Professors, and four invited talks, given by Ph.D. students. All of the speakers are part of a least one of the two institutions mentioned.
The event is held in person, at the facilities of IMASL, on May 12th from 9:30 to 12 am and from 2:30 to 4:30 pm (all times are UTC -3).
