Celebrating Women in Mathematical Sciences
The Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sciences department are delighted to announce this year's 'Celebrating Women in the Mathematical Sciences' event, which will be held on:
12 May 2022 in MS.01 at 18:00
The event will highlight research in the mathematical sciences conducted at Warwick. We look forward to a wide range of contributions from mathematics, statistics and computer sciences, which will explain their research for a general audience using as few equations as possible.

Commencing with keynote speaker Katie Buchhorn, followed by a panel discussion with emerging mathematicians sharing their experiences, and ending with a light lunch and networking

Día de las Mujeres en Matemática
Organizamos una mini jornada para el mismo día jueves 12 a las 14 hs, en el aula 4 del
Pabellón 1.
En la misma mostraremos los números por género que tenemos en el Departamento de Matemática (UBA) luego tendremos el placer de recibir a Sara Isabel Pérez (UNQ)
que nos hablará sobre "Género, ciencia y poder en Matemática" y al
finalizar habrá un café.
Encuentro de Mujeres Politécnicas en Educación Matemática
El objetivo del Encuentro es ofrecer un espacio de reflexión e intercambio para visibilizar las aportaciones y retos de la enseñanza de las matemáticas desde la perspectiva de las mujeres en la ciencia.
Charla internacional del dia la mujer matemática
La charla del día internacional de la Mujer Matemática es una invitación a conocer más de la historia detrás de este día y mostrarle a todos la matemática que hay en nuestro diario vivir, así como en los juegos y actividades. Este día es para conmemorar a todas las matemáticas y destacar su área.

The international mathematician women's day is an invitation to get to know more about the importance of mathematics on a daily basis, -particularly on women- and show everyone the practical uses of math in our lives, through games and activities.

Kvinner i matematikk 2022
The event will take place in various institutions around Norway where people will turn up. Zoom will link us together, and there will also be the possibility of participating solely on zoom.
There will be two talks, an interview with some of the girls participating in the Abel final (national maths competition), and watching of the film "Women in science in Africa - A silent revolution" with a discussion afterwards.
