We present the “May12 Calendar”, an outreach project highlighting women in mathematics through a calendar of real birthdays, with one mathematician for each day of the year. In this short online event on May 12, we will introduce the project and present the website.

EWM's May12 event will take place online between 11:00 and 15:00 CEST. The event will consist of online talks and informal "coffee time" to connect with other mathematicians across Europe.
We organize the webinar on Application of Spatio Temporal Modeling using GSTARI-X Casetti Kriging to to commemorate the birthday of Prof. Maryam Mirzakhani through Celebrating Women in Mathematics 2026. This event was also held to commemorate National Awakening Day in Indonesia on May 20, 2026. We propose the topic of applying Spatio-Temporal Models using GSTARI-X Casetti Kriging to climate phenomena in Indonesia based on NASA POWER.
The aim of this workshop is to increase the visibility of the female members of the GF (Generalized Functions) community and to facilitate scientific collaboration and networking within this group. We would like to encourage female mathematicians in the early stage of their scientific career to participate and present their first results, but the event is not restricted only to female mathematicians.
The EMS WiM Day is organized by the Women in Mathematics Committee (WiM) of the European Mathematical Society every May as a celebration of women in Mathematics in memory of Maryam Mirzakhani. This is an online event consisting of scientific talks at the level of a colloquium talk of two distinguished speakers. This year we are hosting:
The goal of the workshop Career advice for young mathematicians is to foster networking between young mathematicians, ranging from M.Sc. students to postdocs. This event specifically aims to support female and non-binary mathematicians by providing a platform to connect with role models of different backgrounds, both from inside and outside of academia, who are ready to share insights and experiences from their own career paths. Join us to build valuable connections that can shape your journey in mathematics.

The International Women in Mathematics Day, celebrated annually on May 12th, honors the achievements and contributions of women in mathematics worldwide. This global initiative not only commemorates the birthday of the late Iranian mathematician Maryam Mirzakhani-the first woman to win the Fields Medal-but also serves as a platform to inspire, recognize, and connect women in the
