Women In Mathematics
Students will explore posters of inspiring women mathematicians and take part in related maths questions, draw portraits, and join discussions to help raise awareness and celebrate their contributions.

The Math Club, PSC, UTAS–Suhar is organizing Math Carnival – Foundations in Fun, in celebration of the International Day for Women in Mathematics 2025.
From the School Desk to the Soul of Mathematics
This event aims to promote mathematical thinking among high school students and to present selected mathematical concepts and phenomena in an engaging and accessible way.
The program includes:
- Several short talks
- A video about Maryam Mirzakhani
- A video on the number π
- An inspiring video that highlights prominent women in mathematics
- Two math competitions
The event seeks to encourage interest in mathematics and celebrate the legacy of women mathematicians, particularly Maryam Mirzakhani.
International Women in Mathematics Days at the Uni Würzburg: Visit of Prof. Dr. Andrea Blunk | 12–13 May 2025
To celebrate May 12 – International Women in Mathematics Day, the Institute of Mathematics at the University of Würzburg is delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. Andrea Blunk, Professor of Mathematics and Gender Studies at the University of Hamburg. Prof. Blunk's interdisciplinary work connects mathematics, its disciplinary culture, and gender studies.

Mujeres + matemáticas /Women + Mathematics
In commemoration of the World Day of Women Mathematicians, the Piñera Morel Foundation and the University of Chile will hold the first meeting of Women + Mathematics, which will bring together more than 200 female students from 1st to 4th grade of secondary school from Bicentenario Schools in the country.

Filles et mathématiques : lutter contre les stéréotypes, ouvrir le champ des possibles/ Girls and mathematics: fighting stereotypes, opening up the field of possibilities
Le rapport établit la manière dont, en France, la part des filles dans les études scientifiques décroit à mesure de leur avancée dans la scolarité. Elle pointe l’effet majeur des stéréotypes de genre qui engendrent manque de confiance en soi et sentiment de ne pas être à sa place.
