CELEBRATING WOMEN IN MATHEMATICS In Delhi

We will have a program celebrating women in mathematics. After a brief introduction to May12 initiatives (CWM-IMU), IWM, AOWM and outstanding women mathematicians, there will be a talk by Dr. Dalu Jacob, followed by a film "Je suis Sophie Germain" and  discussion over tea. This program is organised by the Mathematics faculty of the School of Physical Sciences (SPS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. The venue is the Seminar hall, first follow, SPS, JNU.

Women in Math Day

TKMD Women in Math Day event will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 13:30, at Middle East Technical University, Department of Mathematics, in Cahit Arf Auditorium (M13). In our event, Prof. Dr. Melek Dosay Gökdoğan from Ankara University will give a talk titled “History of Mathematics”. More info about the event can be found on the poster. In order to enter the campus without issues, please fill in the registration form.

Women in Mathematical Sciences Day 2026

The Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sciences department are excited to announce this year's 'Celebrating Women in the Mathematical Sciences' event, which will be held on

Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 13:30 in MS04.

The event will highlight research conducted by women and gender diverse colleagues in the mathematical sciences. The programme consists of short presentations showcasing diverse contributions, followed by an informal reception and exhibition.

PRISMA: Mujeres Matemáticas

En el marco de la celebración del Día Internacional de la Mujer en la Matemáticas, desde la Maestría en Matemáticas del Instituto de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas de la Universidad Austral de Chile, se propone PRISMA de Mujeres Matemáticas, una actividad que quiere mostrar la matemática como espectro de perspectivas, trayectorias y formas de pensar. Así como un prisma revela los colores contenidos en la luz, este espacio busca visibilizar las múltiples voces que componen la matemática.

UOW Women in Maths Day Trivia

A 'women in maths' themed trivia event with food and drinks provided and prizes to be won. Students can have fun with their peers while they learn about the role of women in mathematics!

 

The event is to be held at the University of Wollongong Unibar on the 13th of May from 12:30 to 14:30 AEST.

 

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come regardless of background, the questions will not require any technical knowledge.
