As part of the PET - seminars which occur monthly on a Wednesday morning, the talk in May will be about gender gap.
It will happen at room 1234 of building 13 in UFSM.

University of Turin and Politecnico of Turin organize an event on the occasion of the Women in Mathematics Day, on 12 May 2023.

Celebrating May 12 at the Faculty of Science of Tunis
The Tunisian Women Mathematicians Association TWMA is organizing an event on the occasion of May 12th. It will be held at FST (Faculty of Sciences of Tunis), on Friday May 12, 2023 ; from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It consists of a « Colloquium of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics »
The event will be held with the support of Tunis El Manar University and the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis.

El viernes 12 de mayo se celebra el Día de las Mujeres en Matemática https://may12.womeninmaths.org/
Con este motivo organizamos una charla para el miércoles 10 de mayo a las 14 hs, en el aula 3 del Pabellón 1.

Conversation with the academic of the Faculty of Mathematics Amal Taarabt, moderated by Tiare Novoa, former student of Pedagogy in Mathematics UC.
The activity includes the visualization of animated capsules "Women and science" that deal with life testimonies of Amal and other academics in Science and then a space where Amal will tell about her life dedicated to mathematics and talk with the public.
