International Women in Mathematics Day Event at PSTAT

We are holding a special research seminar in honor of International Women in Mathematics Day. We planned this day at the encouragement of our graduate students who wanted a time to celebrate role models for women researchers in the department. We will have this talks as a way to recognize the quality research being done in the department and to support a diversity of voices in our scholarly community.

Celebrating May 12 at EDAI

EDAÍ is a Dynamical Systems seminar jointly organized by PUC-Rio, UFF and UFRJ since 2008. EDAÍ is generally held on Fridays, with one Matinee and two Lectures. The Matinees present classical Dynamical Systems results that have not yet found their place in the introductory course syllabus, while the Lectures generally address recent research topics.

In this occasion we celebrate May12 day.
