Colóquio do IME exists since 2019 and organizes monthly one-hour talks by established mathematicians, statisticians and computer scientists at the University of São Paulo, in Brazil. For this May 12, we have invited Marilaine Colnago (Unesp) to give a talk on mitigation strategies for AI bias.

The “May12 Celebrating Women in Mathematics” initiative, now in its eighth edition, is a joyful occasion for the international mathematical community to celebrate women in mathematics: a global event dedicated to recognizing the contributions of women mathematicians and to creating spaces for participation and action addressing the structural inequalities that have shaped—and still shape—the world of scientific research.

We are delighted to hold our annual convention in Lingayen, Pangasinan—the historic provincial capital—at the Golden Lion Hotel of Pangasinan State University.
Fifth National Mini-Conference
The purpouse of this event is to show the research work of female mathematicians from San Luis, open to inviting conferencists from other institutions.
For this particular edition, we will count with a conferencist from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and another one from Universidad Nacional del Sur.
