Our program includes three main moments, organized in sequence, highlighting the presence and contributions of women in

STEM fields:

1. Video screening – Documentary about Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman to receive the Fields Medal in

Mathematics.

2. Talk – “12 May e Caboclas Kirimbaua Auaete: Inspiração para inspirar”

3. Roundtable discussion – Conversation with invited guests about the challenges and journeys of women in science,

technology, engineering, and mathematics.
