International Women in Mathematics Day in Ukraine

At our online event, women mathematicians will talk about famous women mathematicians of the past and present. Was Hypatia really the first female mathematician, or did it all start much earlier? Who are Eniac girls? And which female mathematician did Albert Einstein especially praise? You can learn about all this at our event.

The conference will be held online via Zoom.

International day for women in mathematics - Generalized Functions Online Workshop (3rd edition)

The aim of this workshop is to increase the visibility of the female members of the GF (Generalized Functions) community and to facilitate scientific collaboration and networking within this group. We would like to encourage female mathematicians in the early stage of their scientific career to participate and present their first results, but the event is not restricted only to female mathematicians.

May12: PIMS Lethbridge 2023

This year, the May 12 event at the University of Lethbridge is centered around celebrating and supporting resilient mathematicians: due to their gender or the unrest in their country of origin, many mathematicians face challenges and this can impact their work. For instance, the past year has been most challenging for Ukranian and Iranian women, especially students.

Highlights of the day (see Schedule):

Combinatorics Seminar at IME-UFF

The Combinatorics Seminar resumes this year's activities celebrating the upcoming Women's Day in Mathematics. To celebrate this special date, we invite Professor Telma Pará, who is doing postdoctoral work at the University of Warwick and will share her latest research.

The seminar will be held online. We will issue certificates of participation for Complementary Activity. No prior registration is required.

Inspiring Talk
